Original painting or print? How to tell
Quick checks to identify originals, giclées and reproductions.
Pricing & value
Look at the surface at an angle: originals have raised brushstrokes and uneven texture.
Under a magnifier, offset prints show a dot pattern; giclées show fine sprays of ink.
Check the back for gallery labels, inscriptions and signs of age.
