How to paint
Acrylics dry fast, clean up with water and forgive mistakes, which makes them the best first paint for most people.
Start with a small set of primary colours plus white and black, three brushes (a large flat, a medium round and a small detail brush), a palette and a pre-primed canvas panel.
Work from dark to light and large shapes to small details. Mist your palette with water to keep paint workable, and let each layer dry before adding fine detail.
