How to insure your artwork
Homeowner riders vs. dedicated fine art policies.
Insurance & protection
Standard homeowner or renter policies often cap art coverage and exclude accidental breakage.
A scheduled rider or a specialist fine art policy covers each listed work for an agreed value, usually including transit and accidental damage.
You'll typically need a recent appraisal and photos of each piece. Review values every 3–5 years.
